New to skin care? 3 steps to take

I’ve always been obsessed about skin care, but no matter how much I tried, the results were never better. I’ve wasted money, time and even energy trying to obtain that perfect skin. So, what exactly was I doing wrong?
I’m sure some of you are on the same table as I was on. No, it’s not because they were not good products (Maybe some of them weren’t) and it’s not because your situation is just too pathetic. It’s because you’re doing it wrong.
In this article, I’m going to explain 3 major steps to take when going into skin care. Although this is mostly about the face, but it’s not very far from what you need to do for a proper skin care for your body too.
Step One
The first thing you will have to do is figure out your skin type.
There are a different skin types (That was why that product worked for your friend, and not for you)
You either fall into:
- Normal skin
- Oily skin
- Dry skin, or
- A combination of two or more.
Step Two
The next step is to figure out the skin problems your skin is battling, and what you would want to tackle first. Yes, I prefer slow and steady. It’s better to handle them one after the other, instead of trying to fix them all at once and making things worse and not getting any solution.
Some common face skin problems include:
- Break outs and acnes
- Hyper Pigmentation and melasma
- Eczema and Dermatitis
Know that some skin problems need real prescriptions. See a Dermatologist for problems like Eczema and Dermatitis.
Step 3
When you’re done with the first two steps, then you can begin to research on products that would suit your skin and your skin problems.
