Enseignement Primaire (Primary Education)
This is the first stage, and it’s divided into 2 parts: l’école maternelle et l’école élémentaire that is, Nursery and Primary school.
The Nursery School (L’école maternelle) is 3 years and usually between 3 to 5 years.
The Primary School (L’ecole elementaire) is 5 years and usually between 6 to 10 years
