How to know your hair’s porosity level

There are different hair porosity tests, but I prefer this (Because it’s super easy; not that I’m lazy or something though)

What you need:
Water
Glass
Hair strands: Front, middle and back hair (They are sometimes not the same)
Stop Watch

Method:
Fill glass  with water and let it sit without disturbance. Put strands in water (Being careful enough to not move the water)
Check hair after 5 minutes

Results:
Hair still floating on the water – Semi Porosity
Hair in the water – Normal Porosity
Hair at the bottom of the glass – High Porosity
