Why worry, when you can pray?

This was how I was thought growing up though.
Why worry, when you can pray, trust in Jesus and He 
will lead your way, don’t be a doubting Thomas, lean only on His promise, why worry, worry, worry, worry, when you can pray.
I grew up with this song in my head. It was one of my Dad’s favourite. Although it was only a song then, I just recently understood the lyrics. I’m sure you’ll think that as a Christian, one should know how to pray well, I didn’t.
In my defence, even one of Jesus’ disciples asked Him to teach them how to pray (Luke 11:1-2)
Praying is a very big deal that most Christians have neglected.
It’s the only thing to me that can really kill worry, because real praying goes hand in hand with faith. You pray; you just don’t wish and hope, then you believe and wait.
So, if prayer kills worry, then why worry, when we can pray?
